I have been recording location sound since 1984, primarily as a small crew specialist, but with the gear and experience to mix larger jobs, as well.

My career has offered me some wonderful opportunities to travel to exotic places and many chances to learn a little about an amazing variety of things.

I like being part of a small crew doing good work, and I love becoming engaged in a compelling story unfolding before us as a shoot progresses. I have been blessed with many such opportunities, especially while working for The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer; more on that on other pages.
