In 2006, I will once again run for Boulder County Commissioner.  The first time was in 1998, as a write in Candidate.  I won 80 votes!!!!!!  This spurred me on to the election of 2002, where with the help of friends and family we collected the necessary 750 signatures to get on the ballot, as an independent.  As you may be aware, the media does not or will not give coverage to (non Democratic or Republican) candidates.  However, over 800 votes were garnished that year.  In  the recent year I joined the Libertarian Party (the party of principle). Do the words Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of happiness ring any bells?  The Boulder Chapter selected me to run as their candidate in 2006, for Boulder County Commissioner.  This year has great promise to bring a Libertarian on the Board of Commissioners on what has long been a Democratic party stronghold.  County issues and the Libertarian solution will soon appear so stay tuned.

END MACHINE POLITICS IN BOULDER COUNTY!
Some Crucial County Issues For Your Consideration:
CEMEX LYONS TIRE BURNING: Public health and safety concerns are being ignored by the
Boulder County Commissioners while Cemex nearly simultaneously deeds multiple
build able homesite's to the county for use as open space.... coincidence or quid pro quo?
DRUG TASK FORCE: The Commissioners continue to fund the Drug Task Force despite law
enforcement officials' blatant disregard of direction to pursue hard drug violations only.
Now Ryan Wilson is dead while local drug task force officials circle the wagons and the
County Commissioners refuse to act. Do you really need deadly force protection from
alleged small time pot growers like the
tragic Ryan Wilson?
OPEN SPACE: We now have three sales taxes for county open space, one in perpetuity.
While we continue to pay these taxes supporting acquisition and maintenance of open
space, 50% of the land is off limits to the very taxpayers who purchased it! Worse yet, the
current commissioners arbitrarily sell, barter, or trade invaluable parcels of open space
without public scrutiny. Did you know that your County Commissioners are quietly
purchasing land for "open space buffers"in OTHER counties which will also not be open to
public use? Boulder County Commissioners are committing these abuses in your name "for
the public
good", do they deserve your continuing support?
CODE ENFORCEMENT or CITIZEN HARASSMENT?: Citizens are increasingly harassed and
"politically inconvenient" businesses have been intimidated or even shut down for debatable
reasons. Is this the kind of
arrogant government abuse of power you want in Boulder County?
ROLLINS PASS ACCESS: Despite the requests of two neighboring counties, under minority
political pressure from lobbyists, the Boulder County Commissioners have used "liability
issues" as an excuse to block public
access to historic Rollins Pass because a vital tunnel happens to lie in a remote and tiny
corner of Boulder County. Should access to public lands be thwarted by foot-dragging
county commissioners? Denying the cooperative and sensible recreational use of this vital
resource to the citizens of two neighboring counties?
PRIVATE PROPERTY RIGHTS: The current County policy is to disenfranchise owners of their
property rights through subversive tactics such denying construction due to slope of
property, lot consolidation, and bureaucratic stonewalling to discourage land use. Is this
the kind of government and staff you want?
HAS BOULDER COUNTY GROWN SO "URBANE" THAT OUR REPRESENTATIVES HAVE LOST
TOUCH WITH THEIR CONSTITUENTS?
ARROGANT ENTRENCHED MACHINE PARTY POLITICS IS RIDING ROUGHSHOD OVER YOUR
RIGHTS AND LEGITIMATE INTERESTS AS CITIZENS OF BOULDER COUNTY.
THE "POWERS THAT BE" BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE ABROGATING YOUR RIGHTS "FOR YOUR
OWN GOOD", CONVINCED THAT THEY KNOW WHAT'S BEST FOR IGNORANT YOU!
IN SEEKING YOUR SUPPORT AND YOUR VOTE IN THE COMING ELECTION, I CALL FOR
GENUINELY OPEN GOVERNMENT, TRULY OPEN "OPEN SPACE", AND RECEPTIVE OPEN MINDS.
ARMED WITH TRUTH AS THE BEST DISINFECTANT, I WILL ELIMINATE SELFISH SPECIAL
INTEREST ABUSES OF
PUBLIC TRUST!
IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE, PLEASE CHOOSE ME, RANDY LUALLIN, FOR
BOULDER COUNTY COMMISSIONER
LIFE LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS....Thank You for your support please send this section to Randy Luallin for county

Do you think it appropriate that the Boulder County Commissioners are purchasing open space land in adjacent counties with your tax dollars?
Should the County Commissioners have taken a more active oversight role in scrutinizing Cemex's plans to burn waste tires, and should they have held a public use review in response to significant community health concerns?
Do you believe it was wrong for the Commissioners to redraw private property lot lines without public notice or input in order to limit owners' building rights and restrict growth?
Do you think it is wrong to manipulate private property rights to reduce growth?
Would you be against the use of any County employee citing you for zoning violations?
Do you agree that public safety concerns should be more important than "open space vistas"?
Should we stop overpopulating our jails with non-violent petty drug offenders?
Do you agree with the current County program to arbitrarily contribute your tax dollars to to various non-profit private charities at the
Commissioners' discretion?
Should government in general and specifically Boulder County's public
sector be smaller and less obtrusive in our individual lives?
Should Boulder County concentrate more on using ecologically sound practices while reducing the county's dependence on traditional sources of hydrocarbon energy sources?
Should the county take a more active role in curbing illegal immigration?
Currently there are 3 sales tax charges for Open space one in perpetuity, Does this bother you
Are you concerned about how open space taxes are being spent?
Do you think open space should be open for the enjoyment of the taxpaying citizens who paid to purchase it?
If your answer to one or more of the above questions is
"yes", please consider supporting and voting for Randy Luallin for County Commissioner in November.
Vote Randy Luallin in to keep government small and out of our private lives
